This is a little high for us, but considering that we had enough leftovers for 2 more meals for both of us, it was very reasonable. My wife and I liked the coleslaw so much that we took a quart of it to go home with us.įinally, the price. All 4 of the sides we ordered were outstanding.
Of the meats, the ribs and the turkey were the standouts, but the pulled pork and brisket were very good too. It also came with 3 sides dishes that included hickory pit beans, cheesy corn bake and creamy coleslaw. It had 4 pork spare ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork and smoked turkey on it. Our order arrived in only about 5 minutes. Since we had been to other outlets already we knew what we wanted to try and he took our order quickly. He was back with our drinks in about 3 or 4 minutes and asked if we were ready to order. Our waiter was at our table with our menu and took our drink orders in about 30 seconds. We had a table right outside the kitchen and it looked more like a bunch of friends that were getting together for a cookout then a restaurant kitchen. The food is just as good or maybe a little better, it is newer and more modern, service is even better and all the staff is happy, energetic, hard working and even smiling all the time. I can honestly say that this my favorite outlet of the 5 that I have visited. out that I did not have anything to worry about. I was a little shakey at first because this particular one has only been open for a couple of months. MoreĬame here because we love Jack Stacks BBQ and this one was literally right next to the hotel we were staying at. We will be taking out of town friends as well. My son takes out of town business contacts there when they are in K.C. I will go back as soon as I can! I read that they have a happy hour as well. Even reminded me of the reservation via text, email & phone message the next day.

My only suggestion would be to call the restaurant if you can't find a reservation time online that works. They even accomodated our 3 month old granddaughter with a special sling for her carseat at table level. The place was packed & buzzing, but we could still have conversations because of the smart table arrangement. We never wanted for any service as wait staff was on top of it- there when you needed them & not pushy. table had favorites from previous visits, including our 7 year old grandson who got the pulled pork/mac n cheese appetizer as a meal. I had the barb-e-que chipotle chicken entree & loved it! My daughter had tipped me off on the baked beans & they were amazing! My husband loved the prime rib.
